— Twitter (@twitter) November 8, 2015Everyone is getting in on the fun as we roll toward premiere of J.J. Abrams's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, including Twitter. On Saturday morning the social media giant published what it termed "the first official TV spot for #StarWars #TheForceAwakens" on its official company account.
The spot features many of the scenes already seen in Force Awakens trailers, as well a few intriguing new wrinkles, such Harrison Ford's Han Solo in a snowy environment reminiscent of the ice planet Hoth, featured in Empire Strikes Back. The music in the spot looks back to the earlier films as well—any old-school Star Wars fans still skeptical about resuming the franchise might find themselves intrigued, maybe even a little excited.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, 2015, and we have to admit it, we're getting more stoked with each new spot.
The full-court press of Star Wars ads is on, and it's great.
